Maclyn Grove Olives

Maclyn Grove pickles only hand picked olives from spray free groves. The curing process is long and slow, sometimes taking up to a year, because we use no chemicals to hurry the process. We believe the olives taste better when the stone is left in, so we do not have olives that are mechanically pitted.

Our olives are grown in the South West of Western Australia.




Green Gems

Our green gems are meaty and have a mild flavour..

They are preserved in white and salt vinegar wine. To these olives, we add a variety of herbs and spices.

Chilli and garlic olives 375gram $6-50

Green olives marinated in extra Virgin Olive Oil, with chilli and garlic. Then into a brine and salt vinegar to preserve the flavours.

Oregano and garlic olives 375gram $6-50

Green olives marinated in extra Virgin Olive Oil to soak up the flavours. Then into a brine with salt and white wine vinegar.

Chilli, Line and Ginger olives 375gram $6-50

Great for summer platters. Green olives marinated in extra Virgin Olive Oil, with white vinegar brine and a hint of chilli, zesty lime and ginger flakes. put some zing into your salads.



Black Jewels

Our Black jewels are to die for!..

Greek Kalamata olives are cured in the traditional way. We also add red wine vinegar to the brine of these olives, along with other herbs.

Chilli Kalamata 375gram $6-50

Plump black olives combined with chilli and garlic in brine. These are wonderful with cheese and crusty bread.

Cabarnet red wine 375gram $6-50

Fully ripe black olives are marinated in a choice red wine. These olives are delicious with chunks of parmigiano and fresh crusty bread for a ploughman's lunch with a twist.



Mixed Olives

Rosemary and lemon 375gram $6-50

A traditional favourite with olive lovers. Mixed plump green olives and ripe black olives in a vinegar brine with a generous slice of fresh lemon and rosemary.

Spicy Thai 375gram $6-50

The only way to describe these are hot, spicy and so good!

Mediterranean herbs 375gram $6-50

Juicy green olives and black kalamata olives marinated in extra virgin olive oil with a mix of herbs. Mild flavour experience. Use the olive oil to drizzle over salads, or a dipping oil.



Tapenades ( olive Pate )

Tapenades (Olive de pasta) Olive Paste, with its delectable flavour and enticing aroma, is sometimes called Mediterranean caviar. Maclyn Groves Tapenades, are a rich spread made from hand picked olives. They are first pickled in brine, then marinated in herbs and spices, to produce a very tasty paste.

Rosemary and lemon 375gram $6-50

Choice Green olives are blended with Extra Virgin Olive oil, garlic, selected herbs and a hint of chilli to create a spicy and very tasty spread for putting on crackers or sandwiches. Try green olive tapenade on toast with cheese and tomato.

Ripe Black Kalamata Olives, garlic, capers and anchovies are the basis of traditional black olive tapenade. Scrumptious on crackers or as a spread for focaccia or pizza bases. Try a dollop on top of Roast or mashed pumpkin.

Uses for these delicious fine foods are limited only by imagination



Dukkahs

Dukkah is a favourite with olive connoisseurs. Simply take bread, dip in extra virgin oil, then dip into Dukkah for a delightfully scrumptious taste sensation.

Egyptian Traditional Dukkah 100gram $5-00

Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, sesame seeds are combined with chick peas, cumin, coriander sea salt and pepper for a delicious nutty snack.

Aussie Style Dukkah 100gram $5-00

Mixed Nuts (including peanuts), coriander, cumin, paprika, chilli and garlic are blended together with sea salt and black pepper to create a yummy snack.
